Thanking the Leaves

about

A song of welcoming is the best spell of protection.

Should you need them, there are stronger moods here, starker messages screamed to spirits and passersby, and the flecks of spittle that remain when your tirade is through. It stands to reason, however, that those tools shall not be necessary.

You shall loosen the air, careful to cause a spill only where you mean to. When you feel the warmth, you will know it is working.

You will then lay the wire across your doorstep, after which you will slumber with confidence. The malice may come again, but it will not get inside.

Thank the leaves, every day, even when you don't mean it.
